2. Hosting

IONOS

We host our website with IONOS SE. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur (hereinafter: IONOS). The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our website is presented as reliably as possible. Cookie Consent Management with CCM19

Our website uses the cookie consent technology of CCM19 Cookie to obtain your consent to store certain cookies in your browser and to document this in accordance with data protection laws. Provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Dr. Carsten Euwens Bornschein, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn (hereinafter CCM19). Friendlycaptcha (spam protection)

The Friendlycaptcha tool is integrated into the contact form on our website. This checks whether the entries on the contact form are actually made by a user or by machine or automated programs (so-called bots). For this purpose, the provider of Friendlycaptcha, Friendly Captcha GmbH (Am Anger 3-5, 82237 Wörthsee, Germany), collects your IP address, technical details about your web browser and, if applicable, operating system, the part of our website accessed and the date and time of access, as well as any entries you may have made. No cookies are set or used for this purpose. Friendlycaptcha only receives the data when you click on the button to start the anti-robot verification. To the extent that we receive data as part of this process, we only process it for as long as is necessary to verify your data entry and then delete it. We use Friendlycaptcha solely to detect and prevent misuse of our website or use designed to cause technical harm. We implement these processes on the basis of Article 6 (1) subparagraph 1 letter e) DSGVO in conjunction with Section 4 of the State Data Protection Act.

Ask ASAPIO (AI-powered documentation search)

Our documentation pages (asapio.com/docs/) offer an optional "Ask ASAPIO" feature that lets you ask a free-text question and receive an AI-generated answer based on our existing documentation content, together with links to the matching source pages. If you use this feature, the question you type is sent to two external service providers: Voyage AI, Inc. (USA), which converts your question into a numeric representation used to find the most relevant documentation pages, and Anthropic, PBC (USA), which generates the answer text based on your question and the matching documentation excerpts. No name, e-mail address, IP address, or other directly identifying information is transmitted to these providers as part of this process – only the text of your question and excerpts of our own, already-public documentation content. If you choose to include personal information in the text of your question, that information will be transmitted as part of the question; please avoid entering personal data you do not wish to share. We keep an internal, anonymous log of questions, answers, and the documentation pages referenced, without your IP address or session identifier, for the purpose of reviewing and improving answer quality. As with the contact form, a Friendly Captcha check (see above) protects the first question per browser session against automated abuse; this sets a technically necessary session cookie (asapio_ask), which is deleted when you close your browser or end your session. The use of Voyage AI and Anthropic is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in offering an effective, self-service way to find information in our documentation. As both providers are located in the USA, data transfers to them are safeguarded by appropriate data transfer mechanisms (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Cleverreach, Newsletters

We use the services of CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG (CleverReach) in Germany to manage and send our newsletters. When you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide (e.g. your email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers. This data is used solely for the purpose of sending you our newsletter, updating you on our latest content, products, and services. CleverReach processes this data on our behalf and is contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it in accordance with our instructions. Details about this processing have been summarized by the provider here. The legal basis for using CleverReach is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter, which can be done via a link in each newsletter email.
