April 2026 Release Update

The April 2026 update for the ASAPIO Integration Add-on continues our focus on simplifying complex enterprise integration scenarios with new Kafka and RAP features.

Advanced Kafka & Confluent Integration

We've added native support for SASL/PLAIN authentication, making it easier than ever to connect your SAP backend to managed Kafka services like Confluent Cloud. Furthermore, central Schema Registry integration is now available, ensuring that all emitted events comply with your organization's data governance standards.

Direct RAP Event Sequencing

In this release, we introduce an optimized "outbox pattern" for the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). You can now sequence RAP event data directly without an intermediate extraction step, ensuring perfectly ordered delivery to downstream consumers while maintaining high throughput. RAP event linkage is also now available directly through classic SAP GUI transaction screens, without requiring Event Studio.
