Azure Event Hubs is a big data streaming platform and event ingestion service. It can receive and process millions of events per second. Data sent to an event hub can be transformed and stored by using any real-time analytics provider or batching/storage adapters.
Azure Service Bus is a fully managed enterprise message broker with message queues and publish-subscribe topics. Service Bus is used to decouple applications and services from each other, providing the following benefits:
- Load-balancing work across competing workers
- Safely routing and transferring data and control across service and application boundaries
- Coordinating transactional work that requires a high-degree of reliability

- Enter connection data, end-point and authorization data
- Configure your message type and payload
- Choose the applicable SAP business object event and link it to your just created message type
- Choose between real-time / single-event mode or batch driven mode
- Activate the connection
Create outbound event messages code-less
Easily configure your event message payload, code-less or low-code, based on following options
- Built-in Event Notifications (compatible with S/4HANA notification messages for SAP Event Mesh)
- Built-in Message Modeller - configure fields and tables, including joins/hierarchy structures
- Use attributes from the linked SAP application business objects
- Create a custom extraction handler, with ABAP® code
Built for performance
ASAPIO Integration Add-on is built for large data volumes and lowest system impact: e.g. use our multi-threading mode for batch loads, including a split function for micro-batching of large data chungs. The single-event-mode has close to zero latency. At our customer base we see only minimal system performance impact in daily operation.
Multiple licensing and deployment options
ASAPIO Connector for Microsoft® Azure® Service Bus and Event Hubs is available from ASAPIO and runs on top of ASAPIO Integration Add-on (Framework).
Alternatively, for customers looking at a hybrid scenario with SAP Event Mesh, it can be installed on top of SAP NetWeaver® Event Enablement Add-on, which is available with subscription of SAP Event Mesh service on SAP Business Technology Platform.
