Your Profile

Required:

• Solid professional experience as a developer in modern integration, cloud or full-stack web technologies
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and cloud-native principles
• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs, OData or messaging protocols
• Problem-solving ability, analytical thinking and the ability to work independently within a team
• Fluent German and English
• Completed degree in computer science/IT or equivalent professional experience

Nice to have (curiosity counts more than the checklist):

• ABAP knowledge or experience in SAP ABAP development, SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) and CDS
• Practical experience with SAP BTP, CAP (Cloud Application Programming) or SAP cloud solutions
• Familiarity with event streaming or messaging platforms: SAP Advanced Event Mesh, Solace, Kafka or similar
• Experience with AI/ML services and their integration (e.g. LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with modern DevOps, CI/CD pipelines or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Your Tasks

Integration & Architecture:

• Design and develop event-driven integration solutions connecting SAP systems with cloud and non-SAP systems
• Implement real-time data flows using REST, OData, messaging and streaming protocols
• Contribute to the development of the ASAPIO Integration Add-on and customer-specific extensions

Cloud-Ready Development:

• Write clean, maintainable code that complies with Clean Core and cloud-ready principles
• Develop scalable cloud applications with SAP BTP, CAP and modern cloud architectures
• Ensure that solutions are enterprise-grade, performant and secure

AI & Innovation:

• Explore and integrate AI- and agent-based scenarios in SAP landscapes
• Prototype new integration patterns with modern AI technologies
• Drive innovation in our product and consulting solutions

Collaboration & Implementation:

• Work on international customer projects with large enterprise customers
• Participate in technical design workshops and solution architecture discussions
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices and internal knowledge sharing
• Support customer implementations, training and go-live activities
